The election official will provide you with absentee ballot materials to complete, or you may complete an application online and have a ballot mailed to you. If you are not already registered to vote at your current address, you will need to fill out a voter registration application and show proof of residence. If you have moved since the last time you voted or if you have not voted in the last four years, you will need to re-register. If you prefer to vote at City Hall, please complete the absentee application prior to arrival.

Absentee Ballot Status

The Absentee Ballot Lookup allows voters to track where their ballot is in the process and when it has been successfully counted. In addition, helpful links to additional voter resources such as county auditor contacts and a listing of candidates appearing on voters' ballots is also provided. The Absentee Ballot Lookup can be accessed at the Secretary of State website.

Early voting

Early voting is a form of absentee voting available only during the final seven (7) days before the election. In-person voters may insert their ballots directly into a ballot counter instead of sealing them into an envelope to be processed and tabulated later. This method provides voters valuable feedback regarding possible errors on their ballot.
