Oversized RVs
RVs over twenty-three feet (23') in length and/or 6,500 pounds empty weight may not be stored in front yard driveways except for a 48 hour period for loading or unloading. Oversized RVs also must be fifteen feet (15') from the curb line, not block sidewalks or paths and may not intrude into the intersection sight triangle.
The seasonal aspect of the RV Storage Ordinance is tied to the City’s Winter Parking Regulations. Storage of summer related RVs in front yard driveways severely limit resident’s ability to store their vehicles and meet the requirements of the Winter Parking Regulations. The RV Storage Ordinance limits front yard driveway storage to summer related RVs from April 1st to November 1st. Winter related RVs may be stored in front yard driveways from November 1st to April 1st but then must be moved to other storage for the summer season.
