2024 Street Improvement Project

Overview

The 2024 Street Improvement Project (SIP) is planned to improve the following streets:

• Claret Avenue between 151st Street W and 155th Street W
• Chokecherry Avenue between 152nd Street W and 153rd Street W
• Chokecherry Avenue between 154th Street W and 155th Street W
• Columbia Circle between 153rd Street W and the cul-de-sac
• Circle Avenue between 153rd Street W and 154th Street W
• Columbia Way between 153rd Street W and 155th Street W
• 152nd Street W between Claret Avenue and Chippendale Avenue
• 153rd Street W between Shannon Parkway and Chokecherry Avenue
• 154th Street W between the western cul-de-sac and Chokecherry Avenue

The planned work includes:

• Pavement rehabilitation by reclamation or grinding the pavement surface in place and then repaving with new asphalt.
• Repairing curb and gutter as needed to ensure proper drainage.
• Pedestrian improvements which will include reconstructing sidewalk and curb ramps.
• Minor utility work on manholes and fire hydrants.
